Lychnis cor. Alba

Lychnis cor. Alba is a short-lived perennial valued for its pure white summer blooms held above soft, silvery, felted foliage. Flowering from early to late summer, it thrives in full sun or light shade and in well-drained, poor to moderately fertile soils, including chalk and sandy ground. Drought tolerant once established and excellent in dry, sunny borders and gravel-style plantings, it brings a classic cottage-garden look and will often self-seed to maintain its presence among perennials. Attractive to pollinators.
