The blooms create a beautiful contrast against the dark green foliage, making it a visually appealing plant.

Uses: This cultivar of Viburnum plicatum is perfect for various uses in the garden. It works well as a specimen shrub, accent plant, or hedge. Due to its compact size, it can fit into smaller garden spaces or even large containers. The attractive flowers and foliage make it a popular choice for ornamental purposes, adding interest and beauty to any landscape.

Specify in the Irish climate: Viburnum plicatum 'Watanabe' is well-suited to the Irish climate, given its preference for temperate conditions.
