Delphinium Galahad p.h.
Delphinium ‘Galahad’ is a tall, clump-forming herbaceous perennial prized for its stately spires of pure white flowers in early to mid-summer above divided green foliage. Best in full sun in a fertile, well-drained yet moisture-retentive soil, it is ideal for the back of mixed borders and classic cottage-garden plantings, and makes an excellent cut flower. Stake in spring, shelter from strong winds, and protect young growth from slugs and snails. Flowers typically June to July; cutting back after the first flush can encourage a later display. Eventual size around 1.5m tall by 0.5m wide.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
