Daphne trans. Pink Fragrance
Daphne transatlantica ‘Pink Fragrance’ is a compact, slow-growing, semi-evergreen shrub valued for its intensely scented, soft pink flowers that open from late spring and often in flushes into autumn. It forms a neat, rounded mound of glossy green leaves and is best placed where the fragrance can be appreciated, such as near a path or doorway, or at the front of a border. Grow in sun or light/partial shade in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil (it tolerates chalk); avoid waterlogging and minimise root disturbance. Eventual size around 60–90 cm high and wide; lightly trim after flowering if needed to maintain shape.
