DAPHNE O. JACQUELINE POSTILL
Daphne ‘Jacqueline Postill’ (D. bholua) is a highly prized, semi-evergreen daphne famed for intensely sweet fragrance and clusters of rosy-pink and white flowers from midwinter to early spring (Jan–Mar). Grow in sun or light dappled shade, in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil, and provide shelter from cold winds; avoid waterlogging and disturbance once established. Superb near paths, doorways or seating where its winter scent can be enjoyed; eventual size around 2–3m tall and 1.5–2m wide, with a slow to moderate growth rate.
