Cupressus sempervirens 'Pyramidalis', commonly known as Pyramidal Italian Cypress, is an evergreen conifer that thrives in the Irish climate. It is highly sought after for its elegant, upright growth habit and suitability for various landscaping purposes.

Height/Spread: Pyramidal Italian Cypress can reach an impressive height of up to 40-60 feet (12-18 meters) with a narrow spread of around 8-12 feet (2.5-3.5 meters). Its tall, columnar shape adds vertical interest and structure to garden landscapes.

Position: This cypress variety prefers full sun exposure, making it ideal for gardens in the Irish climate. It can tolerate a variety of soil types and is well-suited for both coastal and inland locations. It thrives in areas with good air circulation.

Soil: Pyramidal Italian Cypress adapts well to a range of soil conditions. It prefers well-draining soil but can tolerate clay, loam, or sandy soils. Regular watering during establishment is beneficial, but it can withstand some drought once established.
