AGAPANTHUS umbellatus Alba

AGAPANTHUS umbellatus Alba is an evergreen clump-forming perennial with strap-shaped green leaves and strong stems bearing rounded umbels of pure white, funnel-shaped flowers in midsummer. Thrives in full sun and fertile, moist but well-drained soil, making a striking choice for sunny borders and large containers. In colder regions, provide winter protection or overwinter container-grown plants in a frost-free place; avoid waterlogged sites. Excellent repeated in formal schemes and reliable in coastal locations.
