Buxus semp Ball 50-55cm
Buxus sempervirens is a classic evergreen box renowned for its dense, small, glossy green leaves and naturally compact habit, making it ideal for topiary and formal structure. Supplied here as a neatly clipped ball approximately 50–55cm in diameter, it brings instant, year‑round shape to entrances, terraces and borders. Slow growing and long lived, it thrives in sun or partial shade (tolerating shade), in any well‑drained, moderately fertile soil including chalk and clay. Trim lightly in late spring to mid‑summer to maintain a crisp sphere, avoid clipping in very hot or frosty weather, and keep roots evenly moist in dry spells, especially in containers.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
