STIPA arundinacea
Pheasant’s tail grass forms a graceful, evergreen clump with arching green leaves that develop rich orange-brown tones in winter, topped in summer by airy panicles of purple‑green flower spikelets. Ideal for architectural impact in borders, gravel and coastal plantings, and well suited to cottage-style schemes. Reaches about 1m high by 1.2m across. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
