HEUCHERA Obsidian
Heuchera ‘Obsidian’ is a compact, clump-forming perennial prized for its glossy, near-black purple foliage that provides year-round structure and contrast. Thriving in full sun or light shade on moist but well‑drained, moderately fertile soil, it’s ideal for borders, edging and containers, where its rich leaves highlight neighbouring plants. In early summer it sends up airy stems topped with small creamy-white flowers, adding a delicate lift above the dark leaves. Expect an eventual mound of around 30–45cm in height and spread; growth is steady and reliable, and the plant is fully hardy.
