Helleborus niger Mont Blanc P17
Helleborus niger ‘Mont Blanc’ is a compact, evergreen Christmas rose prized for its large, pristine white flowers that appear from mid‑winter into early spring, held above leathery, dark green foliage. Perfect for brightening shaded borders, under deciduous shrubs, or for winter containers, it thrives in partial shade and a sheltered spot with humus‑rich, moisture‑retentive but well‑drained soil that is neutral to alkaline (tolerates chalk). Avoid waterlogged sites and remove older foliage as buds form to better display the blooms. Typically grows to around 30cm tall and wide.
