Nandina dom. Obsessed 40-50 CM C10
Nandina dom. Obsessed (Nandina domestica ‘Seika’) is a compact, bushy, semi-evergreen shrub valued for its intense red young foliage, which matures to green and often colours red again in colder months; in summer it can produce small, star-shaped white flowers. Grow in full sun for the best leaf colour, though it also performs in light shade, in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Ideal for borders and containers in Irish gardens; choose a sheltered spot away from cold, drying winds. Ultimately around 60–90cm, and slow growing with minimal pruning needs.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
