The French Lavender 'Lilac Wings' is small, and bushy evergreen shrub with silver leaves.
In summer it produces masses of small, purple flower spikes with lilac bracts.

Planting: Lavender grows best in low to moderately fertile well drained sandy soils. Add grit to improve drainage.
Maintenance: Prune annually when the flowers have faded taking care not to cut into old wood. Cut back leafy stems to within 5cm of woody stems.
