A fast-growing evergreen shrub which spreads to form a mat of aromatic leaves. It will also trail out over retaining walls. It produces blue flowers in spring and summer. The dark green leaves are up 2 inches long and can be used as a culinary or medicinal herb. To harvest rosemary, pick the leaves in the morning as the essential oils are more abundant.
Plant in a sheltered position, in full sun and in moist but well-drained soil
