Helenium Mardi Gras 2lt Pot
Helenium ‘Mardi Gras’ is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial prized for its vibrant late-summer display. From July into September it produces masses of daisy-like blooms in warm yellow to orange tones around prominent cones, providing long-lasting colour and nectar for pollinators. Grow in full sun in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil; water during dry spells to keep plants vigorous and flowering well. Deadhead to prolong the display and divide congested clumps in spring. Ideal for mixed and cottage-style borders in Irish gardens, where its upright habit pairs beautifully with late-flowering perennials and ornamental grasses.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
