Cortaderia sell. mix
Pampas grass chosen from mixed forms, Cortaderia selloana is a bold, long-lived ornamental grass forming dense, evergreen mounds of arching, sharp-edged green leaves, topped in late summer to autumn with large, feathery plumes typically silvery-white. Best in full sun and a moderately fertile, well-drained soil, it makes a striking focal point or structural accent that carries through winter if the plumes are left standing. Avoid waterlogged sites; cut back spent flower stems and remove dead or damaged leaves in late winter to early spring, wearing sturdy gloves when handling the foliage.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
