Helleborus Pennys Pink
Helleborus ‘Penny’s Pink’ is an evergreen, clump-forming hellebore valued for its striking marbled foliage and abundant pink blooms in late winter and early spring. The leathery leaves show distinctive silver marbling, and elegant, outward-facing pink flowers deepen in colour as they age, held on sturdy, often reddish stems. Ideal for Irish gardens in partial shade, it thrives in moist but well‑drained, fertile, neutral to alkaline soils (including chalk). Excellent near paths or in woodland-style borders and containers, where its early flowers provide welcome colour and support for early pollinators. Ultimate size about 50cm high and wide.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
