Mexican Feathergrass Stipa Tenuissima Pony Tails (2Ltr Pot)

Mexican Feathergrass (Stipa/Nassella tenuissima ‘Pony Tails’) is a graceful, tuft-forming, evergreen grass prized for its fine, hair-like leaves and airy summer seedheads that ripple in the breeze. Reaching about 60–90cm tall and 30–45cm wide, it thrives in full sun and free-draining, light to moderately fertile soils, making a superb choice for gravel gardens, sunny borders and containers. Drought-tolerant once established and low-maintenance, it brings movement and a soft, naturalistic look to plantings; simply comb out old foliage and spent stems in late winter. Hardy in most UK and Irish gardens when kept on well-drained soil.
