SKIMMIA JAPONICA TEMPTATION
Skimmia japonica ‘Temptation’ is a compact, slow-growing evergreen with glossy dark green foliage, ideal for shaded borders and containers. It produces clusters of fragrant white spring flowers following colourful winter buds, and thrives in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil that is preferably acidic to neutral. Best in partial to full shade, it maintains a neat, rounded shape with minimal pruning after flowering and typically reaches around 60–90 cm in height and spread when mature. Fully hardy in UK and Ireland conditions.
