Camellia jap. Jurys Yellow
Camellia japonica ‘Jury’s Yellow’ is an RHS Award of Garden Merit selection, valued for its evergreen, glossy dark green foliage and beautiful anemone-form blooms with creamy-white outer petals and a soft yellow centre. Flowering in early to mid spring, it thrives in partial shade, in a sheltered spot with acid, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Ideal for woodland and shaded borders or as a feature shrub, it forms a compact, upright plant reaching around 2–4m over time; prune lightly after flowering only if needed to maintain shape.
