Patio Cherry Piemont (Prunus avium) CAC

Prunus avium is the sweet cherry, valued for its spring display of white blossom and summer fruit. Patio cherries can be grown in large containers or in the ground in a sunny, sheltered spot with fertile, well‑drained soil. Cherries flower in spring and the blossom is attractive to pollinators; protect it from late frosts where possible. Water consistently in dry spells, feed in spring, and mulch to conserve moisture. Prune in summer to maintain shape and reduce the risk of diseases such as canker and silver leaf. Many sweet cherries require a compatible pollination partner for reliable crops unless a self‑fertile cultivar is specified.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
