APPLE KATJA
Malus domestica 'Katja' (syn. 'Katy') is a reliable early-season dessert apple, valued for its clouds of pink-tinged white blossom in spring and its heavy crops of crisp, juicy, bright red fruit in late summer. Fully hardy and deciduous, it makes an attractive, productive choice for family gardens and cottage-style orchards. For best results, plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil; regular pruning will help maintain a balanced shape and good cropping.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
