CORDYLINE Charlie Boy
Cordyline australis ‘Charlie Boy’ is an evergreen, architectural cordyline forming a bold, upright clump of narrow, sword-like, variegated purple-toned leaves, bringing strong structure and tropical style to borders, courtyards and large containers. Grow in full sun to light shade in fertile, well-drained soil; growth is generally moderate, reaching around 2–3m in time. In mild areas on mature plants, summer panicles of small, creamy-white, fragrant flowers may appear. Provide shelter and protect the crown in severe winters, especially in colder regions.
