LEPTOSPERMUM S. RED DAMASK
Leptospermum scoparium ‘Red Damask’ is an evergreen tea tree valued for its rich red blossom in late spring to early summer and its aromatic green foliage. Best grown in a sunny, warm, and sheltered position in Ireland, it prefers fertile, well‑drained, neutral to acidic soil and does not thrive on chalk. In mild gardens it forms a bushy, upright shrub, making a striking feature for sunny borders or courtyard plantings; lightly trim after flowering to maintain shape.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
