Let’s introduce some scent in our gardens this Winter/Spring with some of the most scented plants.
Most scented plants will perform best in full sun, such as:
- Daphne
- Jasmine (polyanthum for the winter flowering variety)
- Genista Hispanica (Spanish Gorse)
- Eriostemon (long leaved wax flower)
- Prostanthera cuneata (Mint Bush)
- Lonicera Fragrantissima (Sweetest honeysuckle)
- Erysimum (wallflower)
But some species will reward you with great perfume even in shade:

Nice written article about spring flowers and , wallflowers people think they are annuals but you cut back after flowering and repeat flowering for following year you have get three years of one plant. NICE with spring bulbs and forget me nots idea for a small garden border or containers.
